The whirlwind that was 2015 is coming to a close and in a few days a new year is upon us. Bringing expectations that I hope come true; at least in this geek’s heart.
- I hope we haven’t already seen the best parts of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
After watching the much anticipated trailers for this film, it makes me hope that DC didn’t make another error in their cinematic franchise. You gave us some amazing fight sequences, you revealed the supposed bag baddie…what else is left to be revealed when it’s released in theaters? I’m hoping they have a few more surprises for us or else DC will fall far behind Marvel in this cinematic arms race. Please. Don’t get me started on Suicide Squad!
- Hoping the new Season of Game Of Thrones doesn’t take a turn for the worst in this coming season
In April the new season of Game of Thrones kicks off. This season will be interesting because George R. R. Martin hasn’t written this portion of the story yet! Which means, unexplored terrain. I cross my fingers in hopes that the producers won’t usurp Martin and go a completely different directoin. Don’t fuck up Bran and Hodor in this one please!
- Daredevil’s second season will be better than the first.
First season was great. Second season with Luke Cage and the Punisher? Fuck. Yes. This season will only get better and will help tie in these heroes for The Defenders. Can’t Wait!
- Totally awesome Hulk comics WON’T suck.
Earlier in December we were given the new identity of The Hulk being the brilliant Amadeus Cho. There are some grumblings because Marvel is only doing this as part of the “All-New, All-Different Marvel”. However, I honestly think this storyline has potential to be great. And this is coming from a die-hard Hulk fan. I feel this way because I believe that writer Greg Pak will make this an interesting story. I have a feeling it will be, dare I say it, incredible. ::rim shot::
Well there you have it! My expectations for 2016. Do you agree? What else would you like to see not-sucking in the coming year? Can’t wait! Polar Bear, out.
